The licensee was out of compliance with R430-90-12(5)(a) by failing to ensure that interactions with the children do not include any form of corporal punishment or any action that produces physical pain or discomfort. During an investigation it was observed on video footage that a caregiver lifted a child by their arm, off of the floor, in an effort to get them to move and apologize to another child for hurting them.
