An unannounced visit was conducted today, December 22, 2025, for a complaint that came in on December 19, 2025. Licensing consultants (LC) Tiffany Faulkner and Suziet Smith observed that the Early Preschool and Pre-school classes were combined. There was one (1) educator and thirteen (13) children whose ages ranged from 2.5 to 4 years old. The required ratio for children 2-4 years old is 1:8.

Upon conducting an investigation and interviewing all employed staff present, it was determined that staff have been punitive to the children, yelling at them in harsh tones.

The incidents that happenedon March 14th and March 21, 2025, incidents reports were not completed. The children were combined early morning. There were eighteen (18 ) children to one educator. Their ages ranged from one to four years old (1-4 years olds). The required ratio is 1:10 for children two and one-half (2 1/2) - Five (5) years old. Also, when the toddler teacher arrived, there were 7 children in her room to 1 educator; the required ratio for this age group is 1:6. In addition, the infant teacher had five infants in her room from 8:45 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. The rquired ratio is 1:4. Infants were left unsupervised on March 21, 2025. During the unannounced visit, there were five (5) toddler bottles that were not labeled and one sippy cup that was not labeled as well.
