During an unannounced visit on 5/28/2024, Licensing Consultant Kristin Alexander observed an infant classroom split, and the children went to two different infant rooms so they could cover lunch breaks. Ratios were maintained. An educator was observed on video footage from 5/16/2024 changing a child's diaper on the floor. The educator did not wash her hands or the child's hands after changing the diaper.

Discussed floaters going into younger classrooms when children lay down for nap to assist educators. 3. Discussed ensuring children are sitting down when they eat or drink. 4. Discussed when to cal DCS for a referral. Violations were received and include: 1. Use of improper discipline. Correct Action Plan (CAP) discussed and sent to agency through the Provider Portal. During an unannounced complaint investigation, LC reviewed video footage and observed an educator slapping a child on the hand and spanking the child on their bottom. Staff stated the educator was immediately terminated. 1240-04-01-.15(5)(e)
