In the PS room, licensor observed some children exhibiting challenging behavior. Staff did not offer positive guidance or redirection and addressed the children in loud, harsh tones, including statements such as "I'm done talking to you."
A PS chair contained a crack on the seat. Chair was removed during the visit.
The garbage receptacle in the PS bathroom was not covered.
At least 1 teacher was not observed sitting with the PS children during lunch. One staff was assisting children with washing their hands, etc. and the other staff was laying out the cots in preparation for rest time.
Ed. Coordinator does not have evidence of completing this training within 90 days of hire (10/2025).
