The Office shall require the child day care program to immediately post upon receipt, in a prominent place at the program that is visible to parents, a copy of the most recent compliance history report issued to the program by the Office.

The program must keep documentation of immunizations the child has received to date, in accordance with New York State Public Health Law.

When care is provided for children under the age of two years, there must be at least one caregiver present for every two children under the age of two years in attendance.

The program must obtain a written statement, from the parent of each infant in care, setting forth the breast milk, formula and feeding schedule instructions for the infant and must be updated as changes are made.

When care is provided, there must be sufficient light in the rooms where children are sleeping to allow supervision of and the safe movement and egress for the children.

In hiring caregivers subsequent to issuance of a license, a program: must ensure that a medical statement has been submitted before the person has any involvement with children in care, as required in section 416.11 of this Part;

The provider, assistant(s), and substitute(s), must each submit a medical statement on forms furnished by the Office or an approved equivalent from a health care provider: before such person has any involvement in child care work.

Evacuation drills must be conducted at least monthly during the hours of operation of the group family day care home.

The program must keep documentation of immunizations the child has received to date, in accordance with New York State Public Health Law.

Each group family day care home must operate in compliance with the regulations of the Office and all other applicable laws and regulations.

All child day care providers, employees, volunteers and any person age eighteen (18) or older living or who begins to live in a group family day care home are required to complete a Statewide Central Register database check.
