Based on complaint 21192, ensure that the use of infant equipment, including swings, exersaucers and bouncers, is limited to 30 minutes at a times. A named child was left in a swing for an inappropriately long period of time.

Maintain an illness log on file at the center and ensure that it contains all of the required components. The illness log was missing the date the child was excluded from the center and the date when the child returned to the center symptom-free.
Ensure that children wash their hands immediately after using the toilet or having their diaper changed. In Room 9, after children diapers were changed handwashing did not take place immediately so children wondered off to play with toys. The toys were not sanitized after but were given back these children.
Ensure that all electrical outlets accessible to the children in the Gym have protective coverings.
Ensure that all exits and egress areas are unobstructed and that the emergency exit doors are easily operable. Remove piles of leaves from steps of emergency exit in the Gym.
Ensure that children in Room 9 are not in direct contact with toxic substances used in cleaning the table. Children were gathered around the table while a member of staff was spraying and cleaning the surface, some of whom were wiping the wet table with their hands.
