Ensure that the center has a current comprehensive general liability insurance policy and maintains the documentation on file. The current liability insurance was not available at the time of the inspection.
Ensure shelving is secure and not overloaded, and appliances, computers, and televisions are secured to a stable surface in room 1C. There are 2 computer monitors that need to be secured for the safety of the children.
Ensure that all toxic substances are inaccessible to the children in room 2. A handbag was at the reach of the children and was removed at the time of the inspection.
Ensure that all staff submit a CARI background check upon renewal.
Ensure that 2 staff members complete orientation training which may be included for six of the required annual training hours.
Ensure that adequate procedures for tracking children are adhered to at all times in room 1A. The staff stated that there was 12 children present when there was actually 13 children present.

Ensure that the center's fire protective systems are operative at all times. the fire panel was in trouble due to a low battery and the director called the monitoring company to confirm that the fire company was monitoring the center for 24 hours for 7 days a week. A tech from the company was called and director will provide documentation that the work was completed.
Ensure that all flooring and carpeting are kept clean and in good repair in room 1B.
Maintain all mechanical ventilation in a clean in the bathroom in room 1A.
Ensure that all playground equipment meets public playground design standards (ASTM F-1487). Clean the large playground climber of dirt.
