Except for nature-based programs that operate solely outside, programs shall conduct fire drills in accordance with the following: Programs that operate continuously throughout the year shall conduct at least one drill each month of operation.
The licensing coordinators' review of the 2025 fire drill log revealed a drill was not completed in December of 2025, when a drill is required during each month of operation. Corrective action: Please review attached document that includes: 1. Reason the December drill with children was missed. 2. Plan moving forward to ensure that December fire drills don't get missed due to snow days and shortened school calendar. 3. Corrective action on last day school was in session in December 2025 during the family holiday party.
