Blankets, sleeping bags, bedding, cots, and mats shall be stored in a manner that ensures that sleeping surfaces are not touching, or the items shall be washed and sanitized before re-use if stored in a way that sleeping surfaces are touching.
The licensing coordinator observed that children's nap cots were stacked in such a manner that sleep surfaces, such as blankets, were touching one another. Corrective action: New sheets were purchased that do not cover legs and also bags to store each child’s blanket with label.
