R 400.1911 Care; supervision; children. (1) A licensee shall ensure appropriate care and supervision of children at all times.
On 08/02/2021 Child A (female, 7 years) did cut her own hair using child scissors while in the care of licensee Jaimee Becker. Due to Child A's age it would be developmentally appropriate for Child A to use child scissors with indirect supervision. Ms. Becker was providing supervision to the children during outdoor play when Child A cut her hair. There is not a preponderance of evidence to suggest that Ms. Becker provided inappropriate care and supervision to children.
