722.115p(2) Child care center, group child care home, or family child care home; potential or current child care staff member convicted of crime. If a criminal history check performed under section 5n or information obtained as a result of notification from the department of state police under section 5k reveals that a potential or current child care staff member has been convicted of a crime as described in section 5r, the department shall notify the child care center, group child care home, or family child care home. The child care center, group child care home, or family child care home shall not allow the individual to be a child care staff member.
The licensee allowed Child Care Staff Member to continue working in an administrative and non-child caring role after Child Care Staff Member was found ineligible.
