LS observed seven children needing a lead screening.
LS observed nine children needing immunizations.
LS observed four children needing an individual needs assessment.
LS observed one individual working in the center that was unknown to the OCC. The individual stated that they have been volunteering in the center since December 2024. The operator within 5 working days of its occurrence, shall provide written notification to the office about the addition of a new employee or staff member.
LS observed that an infant in care was upstairs with a staff member in an area that is not an approved space on the child care center license. If an operator wishes to make any changes from the current license, such as use of rooms not previously approved for child care, an operator shall request and receive written approval of the change from the office before implementing the change.
LS observed multiple tree branches in the fenced in outdoor activity area. LS also observed a small blow up pool with dirty water and live mosquito larvae in the water. LS discussed with director that the activity are shall be free from potential hazards to child health and safety.
This mandatory review inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
The LS observed that children's Emergency Records were not updated and each child needs their own folder.
