LS observed the presence of infants in Room 4. Facility states that the school opened a nursery program for the children of the teachers at the facility in August of 2023. This is considered an exempt program under COMAR section 13A.17.01.02B9(b)(iv). Facility is asked to submit a change in facilities form to remove rooms 3 and 4 from their LOC since they are no longer being used by the program.
Licensing specialist observed 5 instances of children's emergency forms which were missing various pieces of information such as physician info, authorized pickup, date and signatures. Facility is asked to follow up with the parents and submit pictures of the updated forms to the OCC.

Licensing specialist observed an electrical outlet in Room 5B which was not capped. A cap was placed on the outlet during the inspection.
Licensing specialist observed that the thermometer in room 5A measured 45 degrees F. Facility is asked to adjust the settings of the refrigerator to ensure the temperature is at or below 40 degrees F, and to double check the remaining refrigerators.
Licensing specialist observed that the Fire Permit on record expired on January 31, 2024. The facility did not have a more current version of the Fire Permit during the inspection. Facility is asked to acquire and submit a copy of their valid fire permit to the OCC.
