Emergency medications readily available
During the visit there was a tippable black metal cabinet in room 108 and stacked chairs in the art room that were stacked too high, these items could become a potential hazard to children.
During the visit it was learned during the review of an IHCP and the allergy action plan that there was a child who had an allergy that required medications and all medications that were on the IHCP and the allergy action plan were not available at the program.

During the review of files children with medications did not have the correct consent forms for medications. All medications require EEC’s medication consent forms.
Prospective employees/volunteers reviewed
During the licensing visit it was learned that there were two educators working at the program without completed BRC's.
An educator knew of EpiPens but did not know if those with EpiPens needed Benadryl too and after reviewing the medication one child did have an antihistamine in addition to the Epi.

At the time of the visit it was observed that the refrigerator was dirty on the inside and out, chairs were dirty with old stains and walls were dirty with what appeared to be old spills.
Emergency numbers were not easily visible to educators.
At the time of the visit most medication in the purple backpack was expired. There was one medication that was not in the original prescription box, all medication that is at the program should be in the original box with the prescription label attached.

During the visit all epi pens were located in the directors office and all children were outside quite away from the building making the medication not readily available.

During the visit there was not a lot of evidence of curriculum that included appropriate materials. In each classroom there were board games that were unorganized. The rooms were not set up for small and large groups.
Classrooms were not well kept. There was a lot of clutter in the classrooms and kitchen space.
At the time of the visit not all exits had maps or procedures.
Not all children washed their hands before snack or when transitioning into the program.
