The SACC program did not have supplies nutritious foods to provide a meal to a child whose parent may have forgotten to bring lunch dung.
The preschool program did not have Transportation plans on file for any of the children enrolled. The Preschool Director did not have a current children’s records checklist on the day of the visit.

Licensor observed a couple of educators talking to each other, for a few minutes, while their backs were to the children on the playground.
One gate, at field used by children as outdoor space, was not operating properly preventing the ability to close the gate to prevent children access to the parking lot. The other gate has broken fencing with sharp fencing that could pose risk of injury to children.

An inspection of the Playground revealed that there was an insufficient depth of impact absorbing material in some of the fall zones for climbers.

Inspection of the playground revealed that the gate leading to the parking lot, next to the playground, was not secured and allowed children easy access to the parking lot.
The program did not have a current Building Inspection Certificate on the day of the visit.

During playground inspection licensor dug down into the much and learned that there was an inadequate depth of absorbing material within fall zone of large climber.

In the preschool program an Educator states that the program does not supply any snacks for children if parents fail to send in meals or snacks from home. The licensee must have a method of providing nutritious meals and snacks to children whose parents fail to send meals and/or snacks from home.
Program uses two different forms of attendance. One form included parent sign in and out. The other is an attendance list maintained by the educators. On the day of the visit, one educator states that she uses her attendance list to ensure that all children are safely evacuated during an a fire drill. At the time of the visit the attendance list did not accurately reflect the number of children in the classroom.

The Administration reported that a building inspection was recently conducted but they are still waiting for the Building Inspection certificate.
On the day of the visit the program had diagrams with primary and secondary evacuation routs outlined but they did not have written evacuation procedures posted near each exits.
The program was in the process of expanding the sandbox. They reported they will be ordering new mulch once the sand box expansion is completed.

The program's Building Inspection was expired on date of the visit.
Inspection of the playground revealed that there was a head entrapment hazard on the side of one of the playground gates.
Written emergency/evacuation procedures were not posted at each exit.
While on the playground Licensor asked to see children's emergency medication and learned that it was not readily available and with child at all times. Staff went back inside from the playground into the building to gather emergency medications and bring them out.
