Children were observed constantly moving back and forth between buildings. This is communicated to staff through their walkie talkies. However, there were multiple instances when this occurred, and staff did not position themselves so that they observed the child/children between the time when they left 1 group and joined the other.

Children were observed not washing their hands when they arrived at the program, before eating, or after eating.
During a review of program medication, the following was learned: 1) Child A had a food allergy plan that was not signed or dated by their parent as required by regulation.
Two staff records were randomly selected for review, and the following was learned: 1) Educator A did not have documented evidence of a physical or[REDACTED] records on file as required by regulation.

Three staff records were randomly selected for review and the following was learned: 1) 2 staff did not have written evidence of an application, references or interview date 2) 2 staff did not have evidence of a yearly written review as required 3) 2 staff did not have evidence of a current physical on file 4) 1 staff did not have evidence of 2 [REDACTED]on record and a different staff had evidence of only [REDACTED]5) Although at least 2 staff were Group leader or Site Coordinator qualified, they did not have written evidence in the program's electronic filing system (course work, a degree and work verification forms) as required 6) a staff hired in August 2024 did not have evidence to support that they completed "Strong Start 2.0" prior to working with children as required.
During a review of the indoor space, the following was observed: 1) Educator's purses and bags were left in the reach of children, creating a potential hazard 2) The staff schedule was not posted where parents, staff and visitors can review as required by regulation.
Evacuation maps were not posted by each door as required by regulation in the lodge building.
