Insufficient teacher qualifications on file for a staff member working as a teacher in a {REDACTED} classroom.
At the time of the visit, EEC observed a program employee present on the premises with a “Not Suitable” background record check status. EEC learned the employee was on the premises for approximately thirty minutes.
Staff’s personal belongings (purse and a backpack) were stored underneath an unlocked sink cabinet accessible to children within the classroom space.
Hand washing procedures prior to mealtime were not conducted in a classroom.
At the time of the visit, a closet used to store cleaning products (Bleach and Disinfectant solutions) was not safely secured and accessible to children.
