Reviewed parent handbook/contract. Handbook includes program policies and procedures, however, EEC required information such as Safe Sleep, Mandated Reporting, etc. are missing. Discussed educator giving parents the EEC handbook as well as her own. EEC handbook must be filled in with specific program information.
Exit sign is missing from above the front door. Written evacuation plan is posted on the side of the refrigerator. Discussed the educator also filling in the Plan for Meeting Potential Emergencies in the EEC parent handbook.

The educator submitted a child record checklist. Enrollment packets were recently signed. One child has physical date in 2019. Physical documentation is required annually for children.
Grill uncovered and propane tank accessible on the deck. Grill tools accessible. Stain remover spray on a table on the deck. Plastic bag with empty glass bottles on the deck floor. Weed wacker on the deck floor.

EEC evacuation log is up to June 2019. Evacuation drills must be conducted and recorded once a month.
Uncovered electrical outlet in the bathroom.
Dog food accessible on the kitchen floor. Hair dryer cord dangling in the bathroom. Window fan plugged in on the floor in the living room. 2 toy shelves with bins are not secured to the wall in the playroom. Small trampoline leaning against the wall in the hallway poses a tipping hazard. Trampolines are not allowed to be used with daycare children.
Food calendar is used to track attendance. Educator had departure times filled in while children were still present. Attendance must be accurate in "real" time. One child was not signed in.

First aid kit is missing emergency contact pages for each child. Discussed photocopying the Emergency Card page from the enrollment packet. These pages must be updated annually by the parents.
Educator does not practice toothbrushing with the children and parents have not signed waiver forms.
