Adult-Child Ratios -1
The educator was caring for six children aged 3 years (2 children), 2 years, 19 months, 13 months and 8 months old. The educator's daughter aged 7 years was present as well as the educator's 8-year-old cousin. Discussed how the educator was over her ratio because her daughter counts due to the fact that it is summer, and she is under 10 years old. The educator's cousin also counts in the ratios. Anyone visiting under the age of 14 years old, including any family or friends of her children, count in the ratios.

Attendance is tracked in the food program calendar. Only three children were signed in when reviewed. Attendance must be accurate at any given point in the day with the arrival and departure times of the children recorded.

Attendance was tracked on the food program calendar. Observed one child not signed in. Attendance must be accurate at all times with the arrival and departure times of the children filled in as they occur.
Small flat screen television in the basement classroom was not attached to the wall or furniture.
Large wooden sandbox was observed to be uncovered. Discussed placing a cover on the sandbox that will not blow off so easily.

Bathroom in the basement. Hot water to that sink was tested at 129 degrees. Temperature should never exceed 120 degrees. Discussed shutting off the hot water to that sink.
