Supervision
Licensor observed that the educator’s 15 month old {REDACTED} was sleeping on the second floor level, while she was outside in the back yard with the other children. She had the monitor outside with her.
CPR/First Aid - R Apr 2025
Licensor observed that the educator renewed her CPR/FA card online. However, she did not have proof that she demonstrate and successfully complete CPR/FA techniques to a certified instructor. CPR/FA Expiration:05/25/2023
Licensor observed that none of the three exits (one in the kitchen, one in the front of the house and another in the lower level/basement) had "Exit" signs posted.
All the children were missing up to date progress reports.The educator admitted to being non-compliant with the Progress Reports. She last used “The Redleaf Family Child Care Curriculum: Birth to Age 5” progress report format.
Upon licensor's arrival, the two {REDACTED} children were sleeping and the {REDACTED} ones were playing. Then they transitioned into snack time. The educator stated that she does safety theme in the fall, plants and carrots in the spring and now snow in the winter. She also stated that she goes to the library for theme boxes and sign up for Education.com. The educator also stated that she does not follow a structured curriculum. Although the educator expressed that she designs curriculum based on children’s interest, during the visit, licensor did not observe evidence of specific planned learning experiences that support the social, emotional, physical,intellectual and language development of all the children.

Licensor observed the following indoor hazards accessible to the children: In the lower level basement/playroom: 1. Metal tool. 2. Electric Drill. 3. Small black Vacuum on the pathway presenting a tripping hazard for the children. In the first floor level: 1. Blender cup and blender base with cord on a lower cabinet without doors.
During the visit, licensor observed the following: 1st Floor level: 1. Large Black Dishwasher machine in the living room area on the floor that the educator stated just got removed from her kitchen since she got a new one installed.
