Infection Control/Hand Washing
At the time of the visit, the following was observed: 1. A toddler-aged child dropped his fork on the floor, and while one educator attempted to get the child a new, clean fork, another educator directed the educator to return the fallen fork to the child. 2. Children did not wash their hands after eating lunch.
Staff:child ratios and groupings: Fixed
At the time of the visit, a certified educator left the classroom, leaving an assistant teacher alone with a group of toddler-aged children. Assistants must work at all times under the direct supervision of a qualified staff person
