During the visit, the following was observed: 1) EEC regulations require attendance records indicating children arrival and departure times. However, the educator did not have documented the arrival time for today 5/22/26 for a child that was present during the visit. . 2) Per educator the assistant worked last week only during this month of May 2026. However educator did not have attendance records showing the assistant sign in/out times from the program as required.

EEC regulations states that facilities used for hand washing after diapering or toileting must be separate from facilities and areas used for food preparation. However, during the visit, the educator was observed washing her hands in the kitchen sink instead of the bathroom sink after changing a child’s diaper.

EEC policy states that “All sanitizing and disinfecting solutions should be used in areas with adequate ventilation and never near children” . During the visit, the educator was observed cleaning the table prior to serving lunch , however there were children still sitting and playing at the table.

Educator had 2 separate exits (front and back through the kitchen and leading to enclosed back porch). However, the back exit route leading to the porch was obstructed with a high chair, a child size table , 3 bags of soil, and a plastic foldable chair.
