During a review of staff records it was noted that the Staff records checklist is not available for review
During the observation, it was noted that there was 9 children present with one educator. When parents arrived for pick-up, the one educator left the cafeteria to open the door for parents, leaving children unattended. This occurred at least three times during the visit.
Children were not encourage to wash hands upon entering the program or prior to snack. One student was observed having snack.
Evacuation procedures were only posted on the entrance door to the cafeteria, evacuation procedures are not posted at secondary exit.
There appeared to be several hazards located in the cafeteria area. Including the large trash bins are turned upside down to dry near the entrance to the kitchen.
