The licensor observed that the educator was using a floor portable heater on top of the kitchen counter accessible to children.

1. Although the exits from the home were clear, the hallway exiting the daycare room was obstructed with a car seat, toys and other items obstructing the pathway exit from the daycare room posing a safety hazard for children. 2. There was an open bag of ice melt accessible to children in the back exit.
The educator did not maintain appropriate supervision when she left 2 children alone on the second floor to go open the door on the first floor. The educator shared that she is doing that when she is dropping off or picking up children from the bus as well.
The educator is not conducting daily toothbrushing as required.
Upon arrival to the program, the licensor observed that the educators had a {REDACTED} sleeping in a swing. Upon discussion of the safe sleep citation the licensor observed that the educator’s assistant removed the {REDACTED} from the swing and placed the {REDACTED} to sleep on her belly in a playpen.
