During the visit, Licensor observed the educator was the only EEC approved caregiver present, and the educator had 7 children under school aged present exceeding the all children over capacity of six must be school age. Additionally, the educator had 4 children under 2 years of aged present exceeding the no more than 3 children under two years of age, including at least one toddler who is walking independently.

The educator was not using a diapering changing mat with a disposable barrier for diapering changes. The educator acknowledged that she was changing diapers on top of the bed on the blanket a surface that is not been disinfected after each used not maintaining a sanitary manner for diapering purposes.
The educator did not maintained an accurate attendance. She did not documented children’s arrival and departure times or all the days of last week of the March 2nd or on the day of the visit 3/9/2020
Although the educator is conducting evacuation practices, she was not documenting the duration of the practices and she is not documenting the monthly alarm testing of all alarms.

The licensor observe that the educator had a {REDACTED} year old {REDACTED} sleeping on a mat and not in an appropriate sleeping material for an {REDACTED}.
The educator had 4 expired children’s emergency cards in the first aid kit.
The children’s toothbrushes were not individually labeled as required.
There was a broken window glass in the living room.
1. The secondary exit had recycled trash and a chair obstructing the exit pathway. 2. There was a large slate hammer accessible to children in the secondary exit.
The educator did not have a carbon monoxide alarm.
The water temperature tested 164*F degrees exceeding the maximum of 120*F degrees allowed per regulation.
1. There were TV cables in the licensed room and daycare room accessible to children. 2. There was a screw driver and a can opener accessible to children in an unlocked drawer in the kitchen. 3. There was a Vick’s vapor-rub and creams accessible to children on the cabinet in the licensed room.
1. There was a box with empty beer bottles, an old car stored in the play space accessible to children. 2. The toys were all piled up in the side and not set up for children play.
The educator was not exercising a good judgement when she was having a {REDACTED} year old child sleeping on the educator’s high bed. Posing a potential falling hazard for the child and not providing an appropriate sleeping material for the child.
