Dining room: 1. Licensor observed 2 loose cables accessible to children. 2. One metal tube sticking out from the wall accessible to children. 3. Chipping paint in the doorframe of of one of the bedrooms. Front entrance/Back entrance 1. Chipping/peeling pain was observed in the floor and stairs of both entrances. Kitchen: 1. Unlocked kitchen cabinets accessible to children containing a drill and liquid dish soap bottle. 2. Glass bottles in the window frame of the kitchen. Bathroom 1. Unlocked under the sink drawers containing beauty products 2. Plastic bag hanging from the sink accessible to children and containing a wet diaper with napkins. 3. Peeling paint in the door frame. 4. Electric wax warmer in the sink with loose hanging cable.

Licensor observed the record for every child and th following was noted: Child #1- IHCP has no date Child #2- ok CHild #3- missing lead screening Child #4- missing lead screening, outdated intake Child #5- no progress report.
1 child had ASQ but no progress report. All other children had a current progress report on file.

No disposable barrier was available. Educator stated that she uses disposable pads but ran out of those during the last diaper change.
Educator is requesting a capacity upgrade to 8 children. There’s no sufficient/varied amount of toys for that licensed capacity. Licensor observed manipulatives, blocks, dramatic area, plastic animals, playdough, books, and toys fro infants.

Licensor observed parent handbook created by Educator missing: the procedures relating to children's records as in 606 CMR , a statement that parents may contact EEC for information regarding the programs regulatory compliance history, notice that child educators are mandated reporters and must, by law, report suspected child abuse or neglect to the Department of Children and Families; the procedures for meeting potential emergencies, the frequency of children's progress reports; notification that parents are welcome to visit the program unannounced at any time while their child is present;
