During review of Educator records it was learned that an assistant teacher recently hired had not complete the Essentials 2.0 . The Educator did not have a evidence of a physical exam and evidence of immunization to MMR or two does of MMR vaccine.

On the day of the visit the Administrator reported that they only give parents a parent hand book if they request one.
This investigation inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
On the day of the visit there was one Educator in the program alone with 3 children. The Licensee was not on site and there was no 2nd adult on the premises trained in the program's emergency procedures to assist in the event of an emergency.
The classroom being used to care for children, including infants, did not have an evacuation crib as stated in the program's emergency evaluation policy.

Review of children’s records revealed 3 children's files did not include evidence of lead testing as required.
On the day of the visit the program did not have extra indoor & outdoor clothing available for children that may need it.
The program has a small climber in the outdoor covered porch that does not have an adequate depth of impact absorbing material and could pose a danger for children.
It was learned the program has used a local public park located across the street for outdoor play. Licensor inspected the playground and found there were compliance issues related to surfacing and safety of children.
