It was observed that there were two individuals signed in on the educator’s visitor list. These two individuals come to the program on a regular basis to provide music and yoga activities to the daycare children. These persons are not listed on the educator’s renewal application as persons regularly on the premises. The educator is required to go back into her application and add these two individuals.
It was observed that the heater baseboard in the playroom was broken allowing for children to be able to place their hands inside the baseboard heater. It was observed that there were some nails exposed under the stairway by the storage of napping materials, which pose a safety hazard to the children. The heater baseboard in the small room by the kitchen was also observed to be broken.
