The educator is licensed for 6 children. No more than three children can be under the age of two. The educator had four children under the age of two at the time of the visit.
7.11(k) Personal items intended for individual use by children, including but not limited to bottles, pacifiers, toothbrushes and sleeping materials, must be labeled with the name of the child for whom they are intended The educator uses blankets for the children. The blankets should be stored separately to avoid cross contamination.
Progress Reports
Playground equipment did not meet safety requirements. All playground equipment installed after the effective date of these regulations and all playground equipment in homes first licensed after the effective date of these regulations must be located within use zones that are covered with an adequate depth of an impact-absorbing material, in accordance with EEC policy. Pea gravel and wood chip nuggets must not be used in areas used by infants and toddlers.

Lead tests and one physical was missing from children's records. One child needs an annual update. General permission needs to be clear and specific for each child. Several of the children's general permission needs to be made more specific. See technical assistance section for what was missing for each child.
4 children were in need of progress reports.
Evacuation logs were kept for the past year. However, August and September 2019 were missing. Please complete evacuation for October and confirm that evacuation drills will occur monthly.
Children used a common towel. 7.11(10)(c) Hands must be dried with individual or disposable towels or automatic hand blow-dryers. The use of common towels is prohibited.
