On the day of the visit EEC Licensor learned that some educators had not completed the EEC Essential Trainings 2.0 as required by EEC Policy.
Review of the program’s evacuation drill log revealed there were no drills documented in October or December of 2024.

On the day of the visit the program did not have a compete children’s records checklist.
IHCP form for a child with a chronic medical condition did not include the potential side effects of the medications, the names of Educators trained in the medical condition, the name of the medications or the dosages.
On the day of the visit children were observed using hand sanitizing gel in place of proper hand washing with soap and water using friction.
This investigation inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
On the day of the visit the program did not have the name/address and phone number for the Health Care Consultant posted as required.

The program has one newly hired Educator who is working and has not completed the EEC Essential Trainings 2.0. The program did not have evidence of staff meeting for the summer months.
The program did not have a copy of the current Building Inspection certificate the day of the visit.
One child with a chronic medical condition did not have an IHCP on file.
The program did not have parental consent for the administration of medications required by IHCPs.

The medication consent for a child with medication for a chronicle medical condition was not completed by the parent.

Medication
The IHCP for one child was outdated at the time of the visit. The plan did not inlcude the names of staff trained in the medical condition or who trained them.
The medications for a child with an IHCP had an expiration dat of 4/2022.

During the visit, it was found that there are several areas inside the building with peeling and flaking paint. Program director reported that they will be moving to a new building after construction is completed.
During the review of documents, it was found that the building and fire inspections are expired. Program director reported that the inspector completed the inspections and the program is waiting for the certificates.
