During the visit the program did not have a current Fire Inspection Certificate from the town. The Director stated the Fire Inspector has been out to the program to conduct an inspection and that the program is in current communication with the town about obtaining the certificate.

This enhanced monitoring visit inspection recorded no violations or advisories.
During a walk through of the program's playground, the following was observed: -There are sharp and protruding metal coils along the top of the fence. This is a safety hazard and must be addressed by the program to ensure safety of the children. -There is a beige cover attaching a portion of the gutter on the side of the building adjacent to the backstairs and playground gate leading to the parking lot that is broken and sharp that is in need of repair and/or replacement.
The program does not have a current Fire Inspection Certificate. The last fire inspection date was conducted on 3/17/2022.

The following was observed on the playground: -The green and brown climbing structure is in need of repair or removal. Although the program has a strip of yellow caution tape around the perimeter of the climbing structure, the structure is still accessible to children. This is a safety issue that needs to be addressed immediately. -The storage shed located on the Preschool side of the playground has rotted wood that is need of repair on the front and back bottom portion of the shed. -The storage shed located on the Preschool side of the playground has chipped and peeling paint on the shed that is need of repair. -The back side left side of the storage shed located on the Preschool side of the playground has an area of approximately 5" in height that exposes the foundation of the shed which poses as a potential entrapment issue. -The right side of the back of the storage shed has an area approximately 12" wide by 3" deep that is exposed near the foundation of the shed and poses as a tripping hazard. -To the right of the storage shed on the Preschool side, the chain link fence is not four feet high and it is not secured to the fence post, leaving approximately an 8" opening, which poses as a potential entrapment issue. -On both the Preschool playground side and the Toddler playground side where the asphalt meets the sand, the sand is not level with the asphalt which poses as a tripping hazard. -On the Toddler side of the playground there is very little area that is shaded for the children to play. The outdoor play area must provide for both direct sunlight and shade.

In the preschool classroom bathroom there are 6 missing floor tiles that are in need of repair. The exposed are of flooring appears to be rusted.
During the visit, the Director stated that the program receives food delivery for the children from its Camp Lyndon site. The Director stated they have requested a current Food Permit from the YMCA but have not received it at this time.
