Progress Reports
During the visit, snack was served to the children by the educator (animal shape crackers and milk). The educator did not follow appropriate hand washing procedures. The children’s hands were not washed with liquid soap and running water, using friction, in accordance with DPH guidelines. Also, the children's hands were not dried with an individual or disposable towel or an automatic hand blow-dryer.
The educator stated that she has a child who has an allergy. The Licensor did not observe an allergy list posted to include this child. Note:Tree nuts allergy.

After reviewing the Progress Reports of the five children who were present during the visit, Licensor observed the following: 1) One child was missing an up to date progress report.

The educator disclosed that her {REDACTED} moved back to the home last year, in October 2019. The educator failed to notify EEC of the changes in her household composition within seven days, and to complete the Background Record Check (BRC) process for this household member.

After the reviewing the “Non-Oral Health Participation Form" for the children who were present during the visit , Licensor observed the following: 1) three of the children were missing the form.
Licensor observed that there was not a barrier at the top (permanent gate), and at the bottom (pressure gate), of the stairwell leading to the upper level floor.
Licensor observed, the following indoor hazards accessible to the children: 1) a bottle of "Fuel system cleaner" on the floor in the dining room area. 2) a large bag of Ice melt salt, that was open in the dining room area. 3) an unlocked cabinet in the kitchen under the sink, with various cleaning products. Note: No outdoor hazards accessible to the children were observed.
