All child care providers, employees/household members in all licensed child care facilities and homes are mandated reporters."<br/> <br/> (22) Suspension and Expulsion, which shall include:<br/> (A) The conditions under which a child may be suspended or expelled, if applicable;<br/> (B) Sufficient timeframe before suspension or expulsion occurs to enable parents to make alternative child care arrangements or to take the necessary action to allow the child to remain enrolled, except as specified in paragraph (22)(C) below;<br/> (C) Conditions that may warrant immediate expulsion such as imminent danger to the health, welfare, or safety of the children;<br/> (D) Parents and guardians are provided written notification of any concerns that could lead to the child's expulsion; and<br/> (E) When expulsion occurs, the provider shall maintain a record of the conditions, parental notification, and action taken.<br/> <br/> Please provide a copy of the amended Parent Handbook to satisfy this requirement.<br/>

Written health policies for staff Please <b>amend the Faculty Handbook</b> to comply with §17-892.2-56 Personal health habits of staff:<br/> <br/> (2) No smoking, including electronic smoking devices, is allowed on the premises during child care hours of operation, and personal nicotine products shall be stored out of reach of children. - Please amend the smoking policy under Health Habits on page 28 to specifically include electronic smoking devices and storage of personal nicotine products.<br/> <br/> (3) Alcoholic beverages shall not be consumed prior to and during the hours of operation at the child care facility. - Please amend the Health Habits on page 28, or elsewhere in the handbook, to include that this requirement.<br/> <br/> (4) Medication that impairs or limits the staff's ability to provide care shall not be consumed prior to or during the hours of child care. - Please amend the Health Habits on page 28, or elsewhere in the handbook, to include this requirement.<br/> <br/> <b>Please provide a copy of the amended Faculty Handbook to satisfy this requirement.</b><br/>
Sanitation inspection Please submit a copy of the most current Food Establishment Permit. If the annual Department of Health's (DOH) inspection has been done but the permit has not been issued, please submit a copy of the Department of Health's Food Inspection Report showing no violations, and a copy of the Green Placard. Failure to do so will result in the individuals being excluded from providing child care until the training requirement is met.</b><br/> <br/> The Worker sent the assessment to the director on December 11, 2024.<br/> <br/> This requirement will be met once the assessment is recorded in the system by PATCH.<br/>
