Inspector observed floor drains in each bathroom which consisted of green residue build-up. Inspector observed pipes under the sink and toilet connections which also consisted of green residue build-up, rust, and dust. Technical Assistance was given. Per Florida Department of Health Palm Beach County Rules and Regulations Governing Child Care Facilities Article X. A.28 (PHYSICAL FACILITIES) " Floors shall have washable, easily cleanable surfaces." ***
Observed bathroom toilet base which consisted of white tiles/grout having dark stain discoloration located around the toilet base and in back of the toilet. . Per Florida Department of Health Palm Beach County Rules and Regulations Governing Child Care Facilities Article X. D.12. PHYSICAL FACILITIES. Toilet and bath facilities. "Each basin and toilet must be maintained in good operating condition, and cleaned and disinfected at least daily or more frequently as needed."
The walls were not maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. Inspector observed stains and dirt accumulation on walls. This was observed in all classrooms. Technical Assistance: Per Florida Department of Health Rules and Regulations Governing Child Care Facilities Article X. A.29 (PHYSICAL FACILITIES) " Walls and ceilings of all rooms shall be kept clean and in good repair."
Inspector observed accumulated dirt, dust, and stain buildup especially in corner areas of the rooms. This was observed in all classrooms. Technical Assistance: Flooring has cutmarks in the tile (throughout the facility). Per Florida Department of Health Palm Beach County Rules and Regulations Governing Child Care Facilities Article X. A.28 (PHYSICAL FACILITIES) " Floors shall have washable, easily cleanable surfaces."
