On February 10, 2026, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding failing to follow pet policy and sanitation concerns. An investigation was completed on February 13, 2026. Based on interviews, observations, and documentation, there is no evidence to substantiate this complaint. The refrigerator was clean and sippy cups were observed to not contain mold. Provider #1 stated they clean the cups in the dishwasher every night. Additionally, the parent handbook states the dogs will have contact with children on a daily basis.
Disposition: No Evidence to Substantiate
On September 8, 2023, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding hazards being present in the indoor and outdoor space, sanitation, inadequate space for movement, too many children being present, and an unknown youth present in the child care space. This complaint is substantiated for two unknown youth volunteers being present because the provider stated she was using youth volunteers who had not been approved by OCCL. The names and dates of birth for both youth volunteers have been provided to OCCL and approved. There is no evidence to substantiate hazards being present, sanitation, too many children being present, or inadequate space because the child care space was observed to be clean and free of hazards and did not smell of pet urine. The provider stated the wooden fence had needed some repairs. This had already been completed by the time of this visit. It was also observed that the child care was maintaining the correct staff-to-child ratios for the large family license. There were 10 children present with three staff members at the time of this visit.
