On May 28, 2026, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding sanitation concerns. An investigation was conducted on June 8, 2026. Based on an interview with the provider and observations of the child care home, there is no evidence to substantiate this complaint. Provider #1 stated they clean and sanitize as required and the child care home was observed to be clean at the time of the visit with evidence to show cleaning supplies are readily available.

On March 10, 2025, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding allegations of failing to follow termination policies and failing to release children to an authorized pick-up person. An investigation started on March 20, 2025, and ended on March 21, 2025. This complaint is substantiated for failing to follow termination policies and failing to admit authorized persons into the child care to pick up children from within the home. There was a lack of communication between Parent #1 and Provider #1 as well as other issues, but this reason was not stated in the parent handbook as a reason for terminating a child s care. There is also no statement in the parent handbook about the ability of the provider to not release children to authorized people, as long as those people do not appear intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.

On January 14, 2025, the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) received a complaint regarding an aggressive pet in areas where child care is provided. An investigation was started on January 17, 2025, and concluded on January 30, 2025. There is no evidence to substantiate this complaint regarding an aggressive pet in areas where child care is provided based on interviews, observations, and documentation received. The dog only barks and paws at an individual, but has never been aggressive, especially with the children.
