Immunizations (a) Prior to admission to a family day care home, children shall be immunized against diseases as required by the California Code of Regulations, Title 17, beginning with Section 6000.

Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. During children file reviews at 8:20 a.m., LPA observed child #1 (C1) did not have immunization records inside their file. LPA asked licensee for the immunization records and licensee stated the records were not available during the visit which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
