CCC Smoking is prohibited on the premises of a family child care home as specified in Health and Safety Code Section 1596.795(a). The smoking of tobacco in a private residence that is licensed as a family child care home shall be prohibited during the hours of operation as a family day care home and in those areas of the family day care home where children are present.

Licensee has stated they will no longer smoke during daycare hours. Licensee and staff to read and acknowledge Health and Safety Code specific to smoking in a family child care home. A written statement of understanding shall be sent to CCL by 4/7/25.
