Since the incident, Director ensured children who are not yet of age to use the play structure no longer have access to the play structure. Alternative play equipment and activities are provided for those children when outside. Based on observation, interview, and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above as one child sustained a minor injury while playing on a play structure that was not age-appropriate, which poses a potential health, safety, and/or personal rights risk to persons in care. LPA determined the actions taken following the incident is sufficient to clear the citation at the end of today's inspection.
