Immunizations (a) Prior to admission to a family day care home, children shall be immunized against diseases as required by the California Code of Regulations, Title 17, beginning with Section 6000.
Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, interview, record review. the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. Licensee stated that the child's parents did not want to vaccinate their child and LPA Garcia observed a hand written note from parents in the child's file that states "have refused to vaccinate my son..due to personal and private beliefs..."
