Criminal Record Clearance (e) All individuals subject to a criminal record review pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.871 shall prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed facility

Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation and record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above. During today's visit, LPA observed an uncleared adult (Staff 1) working at the facility and providing care and supervision to children in care, prior to obtaining a criminal record clearance. This poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care. POC Due Date: 12/14/2023
