Buildings and Grounds (g) Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items that could pose a danger if readily available to children shall be stored where inaccessible to children. (2) Firearms and other weapons shall not be allowed on or stored on the premises of a child care center.
Deficient Practice Statement Based on observation, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above in LPA observed an armed guard at the facility. Per Licensee, armed guard was hired May of 2024 per parents request, to provided security and protection during hours of operation which poses an immediate health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
