Rule states that a child under one year of age may not sleep in a crib or playpen that contains soft or loose materials. No blankets or other items may be hung on the sides of a crib or playpen. The provider reported that a child under one year of age regularly sleeps in a bassinet with a cloth tented zipper top attachment, with the cloth material hanging over the side of and inside the bassinet. It was observed that the cloth material with the zipper was hanging over the sides of the bassinet onto the bassinet mattress, and underneath a 2 month old child during the monitoring visit.
