On 1/6/25 staff failed to notify Child #2's parent of scrapes the child received while engaged in a game of hide and seek with program staff after the child climbed inside a garbage can and sustained injury while attempting to exit the garbage can. The child is also reported to have cried for 5 minutes following the incident. The parent was not informed of the incident & injury until the following day when the parent called the director to inquire what had happened to her child and informed the director that she had taken the child to the emergency room for professional medical evaluation.
