On 5/27/26, per review of video footage & per the report of staff, Child #2 (age 1) was left alone in the Toddling Turtle classroom for approximately 4 minutes when Staff A & B exited the classroom door leading directly to the outdoor play space with 6 children leaving a 7th child (Child #2) behind in the classroom. Another child care worker in the outdoor play space heard a child crying, determined the crying was coming from inside the classroom, entered the classroom and found Child #2 behind the exit door.
