During the course of the complaint assessment, it was reported that a child slipped through the outside play area of the daycare, from a broken section of the outdoor program fenced area, where child eloped onto sidewalk, found by a neighbor 500 ft away from center, near an intersection, and returned back to staff whom grabbed child by bicep and pulled child inside childcare and this incident of the child eloping was not reported to department, by staff at site after neighbor returned child to center safely.
