A surveillance video from 2/27/2026 during nap time in the infant room showed a 14 month old child sitting up on a nap cot after awakening. It was observed that Level Up Learning employee Cade Quinn went to the child and shoved the child down forcefully, face first, onto the cot. It is alleged the employee's actions caused the child to hit their face on the plastic frame of the cot causing bruising to the child's forehead and near their eye. WAC 110-300-0331(1)(c),A surveillance video from 2/27/2026 during nap time in the infant room showed a 14 month old child sitting up on a nap cot after awakening. It was observed that Level Up Learning employee Cade Quinn went to the child and shoved the child down forcefully, face first, onto the cot. The Director of the facility, Leslie Hieb, had previously watched the video, scanning through it to try to find out how the child was injured. The Director had saved a clip of the video on her cell phone of the moments just before her employee shoved the child down onto the cot. The Director also said she had disciplined the employee and moved her to a different classroom. It is alleged that the Director was aware of her employee's actions on 2/27/2026, indicating possible abuse and neglect, and had not made a report to law enforcement or DCYF within 48 hours as required by RCW 26.44.030.
