110-300-0165(2)(b) · Non-Compliances: This section of the Inspection Report lists non-compliances found during any licensing inspection. Information from this section will be reported to Child Care Check and be can be used to determine current and future licensing and enforcement actions. An early learning provider must take steps to prevent hazards to children including, but not limited to: (b) Eliminating and not using in the licensed space, pursuant to RCW 43.216.380, any window blinds or other window coverings with pull cords or inner cords capable of forming a loop and posing risk of strangulation to children; (i) Window blinds and other window coverings that have been manufactured or properly retrofitted in a manner that eliminates the formation of loops posing a risk of strangulation are allowed; and (ii) A window covering must not be secured to the frame of a window or door used as an emergency exit in a way that would prevent the window or door from opening easily;
The water in the bathroom was tested to 131* degrees. The stairs leading to the outside deck did not have a baby gate placed at the bottom. Some window blinds were observed to have cords that were capable of forming loops. The sliding glass door that leads to the back yard did not have stickers or artwork at children's level. Two outlets in the "indoor gym" did not have tamper resistant covers on them.
