There are some staff who have not completed TB testing. The Director reports they have been having problems finding this resource in their community, but they will work to overcome this obstacle. All staff are required to have passed a TB test in order to work with children. There is one part-time staff member who needs a new portable background check. This training must be repeated pursuant to Washington state department of labor and industries regulations.
Some staff have not completed Child Care Basics that are required to do so. One staff member has not completed the online bloodborne pathogens training.

All classroom staff, including subs, need to have current CPR/First aid which is required to be done in person. All classroom staff, including subs, need to complete a one-time blood borne pathogen training; this can be done online as long as it meets federal OSHA requirements. All staff who prepare or serve food (unless closely supervised by other staff who have a food handler's permit) must complete online training through the county and have a current food handler's permit. Laura's expired in November 2023.
