During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed in Merit that J.B., Z.C.,T.D.,J.M., S.P., and E.W. are all missing a current food handlers card. WAC 110-300-0165(2)(d) During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed plastic bags accessible to children in one of the toddler rooms and both of the preschool rooms that were accessible to children. This licensor observed in the toddler Shark room the plastic bags were in the drawer by the childs sink. In the Sea Otter preschool room the bags were in a drawer next to the childrens sink and in the Orca preschool room there were plastic bags in the cabinet under the childrens sink. Wac 110-300-0165(4)(b) During the onsite monitor visit this licensor observed the windows in all the center's rooms that were in reach of children were missing the barrier to stop the window from opening at three and one-half inches to keep children from exiting the window. 110-300-0215(3)(a)(i) · An early learning provider must administer medication to children in care as follows: (i) Prescription medication. Prescription medication must only be given to the child named on the prescription. Prescription medication must be prescribed by a health care professional with prescriptive authority for a specific child. Prescription medication must be accompanied with medication authorization form that has the medical need and the possible side effects of medication. During the onsite montor visit this licensor observed an Epi-pen that did not have the presciption label with the child's first and last name, the date the prescription was filled, the name and contact information of the prescribing health professional, expiration date, dosage amount, and lengh of time to give medication, and instructions of the administration and storage.
